| In 2004, Daniel & I moved to Marin from Florida to begin our masters degrees; we started tutoring part-time to help pay tuition. After a semester of this, we worked toward organizing our fellow students into a network of experts as a resource to the students of Marin. Now we have a 3-year-old girl & a baby boy. I spend my mornings with them and tutor elementary to high school math, reading, writing, French, and SAT & ACT prep in the afternoons! |
I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida where I attended Stanton College Prep, the number two public high school in 2003 (Go Blue Devils!). I graduated from Jacksonville University with an English degree in 2000, then worked with micro-loan investments in Bangladesh. I recently received an MA of Intercultural Studies, but that doesn't keep me from exploring how chemistry and physics shape every day life. I'm passionate about learning and even more about helping others; my favorite subjects are history, science and English. |
